Quoting Darwin-FX; [/IDisliked@Valkyry: Well, the Parameterspace analysis will not. However, in the WFA, Metatrader's optimisation is used and then the single trades, from the "forward trading" backtest are parsed. So, if the renkos are set up properly in the Metatrader installation that you use to create the cluster from it *should* work. But I dont know, try it, and if it does not, perhaps we can find a workaround Attention: forextester.com data does not have proper volume informations! So you should import MT4 hst files or MT5 csv files (as in the manual).Ignored
DislikedDarwin-FX, Thanks for your reply. The reason I asked is because I cannot see any pictures in DATFRA, not after a WFA, not during the strategy builder or not anywhere at all actually. So I my initial thought was that the pictures ended up in the wrong directory. But if I got you right, it is supposed to store the pictures in the bin/ folder? Have a look at the attached picture and youīll understand my problem. As to your question about timeframes, Iīve been using H1 mostly. {image} {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedThe spread is directly put into metatrader. MT4 handles this a bit "odd", but an input of 3 should be 3 pips, even on 5 digit history data. You can check the spread like that: Print("Spread = ", (MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_ASK) - MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_BID))); -DarwinIgnored
bool spread_is_ok() { // check spread double spread = MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_ASK) - MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_BID); if( spread < pipValue ) { Alert("ERROR: SPREAD IS INCORRECT: ", spread); Print("ERROR: SPREAD IS INCORRECT: ", spread); return (false); } return (true); }
QuoteDislikedEURUSD,H1: Spread is 0.0003, which is 3 pips. 1 Tick is 0.0001
double spread = MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_ASK) - MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_BID); double spread_pips = spread / 0.0001; double tick = MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_TICKSIZE); Print ("Spread is " , spread , ", which is " , spread_pips, " pips. 1 Tick is ", tick);
