DislikedHi Erko, I know you've been around since I see your name here. 0SL isn't applied recently because of some extra profits I got a few months ago... I'm giving it a chance these days, I don't mind losing 2 pips.... the best way to do it is like on the rules page, no1 post. On the open it's mostly 2 pips for me to decide the directions, either way my friend... the success lies in small SL and large TP, like 300 pips TP for example.... I also use pip restoring method (not listed here) to get back a lost pip, I have nothing to lose to be honest.Ignored
Dislikeduse #1 only... it's the best, it would be too long to explain why, it took me 8 years to figure it out... set your sl tight, and TP on long range... restore some pips and be patient, TP should range between 120-300 pips min, sl 2 pips maxIgnored
DislikedHey fxforlife can you send me a private messeage so we can talk, your system seems interesting, dont wanna disrespect tonys thread by talking about a variant of his system sort a speak. Pm me and you should set up an email in your profile so you can be reached. Thanks bro and thanks tony for starting this thread bro!Ignored
DislikedHey Tony
thanks for your reply.
So you mention initial direction - if the candle goes up you go long right?
But then you mention "it has to be at least 2 pips on its way".
If the 1st candle is green (long) for example, but only 0.5 pips... what do you do? Do you then wait for a 2 pip candle either up or down?
I entered at Number 1, as the initial direction was down - and I got stopped out. However I also then looked for a >2 pip candle and would have still been stopped out.
Was trying to see if I got the way of 'thinking' correct and it...Ignored
Dislikedhey Tony,
Awesome thread you have here, I was giving your strategy some thought and I really like the idea of it.
I read through all the post starting from page 180, I know this came up before but I wanted to know your opinion regarding a thought I had.
Regarding the 140 TP, you may only want to use that TP when there is a either risk apetite or risk aversion sentiment in the market, I use a tool called "newsprofiteer" to determine the market sentiment.
Normally, you could just use fib levels to determine TP.
What do you think?Ignored
DislikedHEY TONY TELL ME SOMETHING, HOW DO YOU KNOW WICH WAY TO TRAde? for instance this morning when the london session opened up, the market went up before it went down. would you have bought or wait for a short candle with a more than 2 pip size before you shorted, its seems random the way you trade, no offense or anything. i cant really see how there is a method or rule its like hey just get in in which ever random way you see the market moving. is that how you trade and hope for the best with a low stop of 2 to the zero pip stop loss? I can see why...Ignored
