Now you're showing us the GJ (my favorite pair, part of the reason I'm following this thread) again in more detail, and the second time around, am beginning to see the patterns you've labeled on the chart more clearly. Now I see why you use the line chart - which I never use - because it makes the patterns more immediately recognizable. Now that I see it with the line chart the first double bottom has that eerie (not going to define that for you) look of the 2007 H&S in GJ, the chart pattern that inspired me to say in a document I wrote on forex at the time (was not trying to make any money on it) that chart patterns are signs from God. Without the line chart it doesn't look like much at all. So this is an aid in recognition, thanks.
In spite of saying that about chart patterns back in 2007 have never pursued too seriously the ability to really recognize and know these patterns and base my trading on them, for some reason. That would probably be the next logical step.
