Disliked{quote} It seems to me that this chart has a fixed scale. Look at the values. "4793974.??" is a big number. Right click the chart and select "Properties", go to the "Common" tab and make sure "Scale fix" is not selected. Hope it helps. If that is not the problem, then I don't know what is going on.Ignored

DislikedHI. ive trawled through different places finding conflicting answers to my question which is simply; What is the minimum deposit required to open a live fxcm MT4 spreadbet account?(im UK) If someone could give me a current answer that would be great. thx.Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} Hi Jsr, It looks like you might have some bad H1 data on EUR/USD. Try deleting that data and reloading the chart. That should pull in our price data again: Go to Tools > History Center > Select EURUSD (should be a group just for EUR/USD) > Double click on EURUSD > Double click on H1. Select the top row then scroll down to the bottom (or at least till before the bad data starts) > Hold Shift and click the last row. That highlights everything. Then click Delete and reload the chart.Ignored

Disliked{quote} the page you show says 2000 ,$ or euro. If I opened at $2000 that would only be like 1400 or so. I thought spread bet accounts had to be base currency . Can UK only spread bet account be in any base currency? I thought they based in and traded $.Ignored
DislikedJason, What will happen to customer retail accounts (in 2018) in the event that Leucadia forces a sale of the company after the $300M debt is paid? When is it expected that fxcm will pay off this debt? Thanks.Ignored
Disliked"Additionally, all of our regulated entities except the U.S. provide clients with segregated funds." Jason, what about us, USA Citizens, who are worried about our non segregated funds after what happened in January and therefore timid to deposit more. DislikedDownloading data from FXCM (or any other MT4 broker) is a real work of patience. And when you don't get it right, al your Back Testing will be bad and your real live trades will be very different (=losing money) compared to the Back Tests !!! Read here Also only now I found out that MT4 is actually FAKING tick data in it's history. That means only the ticks that you see in the current bar are real. The other bars when you run the BT have randomly generated ticks. Just...Ignored
Disliked{quote} You highlight an important point about forex trading in the US. Unlike in other countries, there is no insurance or segregated funds status for forex accounts in the US. However, US regulations prohibit anyone but US-regulated brokers from offering forex trading to US residents. Therefore, if you're trading forex in the US, the capitalization of your broker becomes all the more important. Below are the latest capital figures for US-regulated forex brokers (RFEDs) as reported to the CFTC. {image} Despite the events of January 15, 2015, FXCM...Ignored
