DislikedVery interesting thread so far I'm surprised so many in here are successful.Ignored
DislikedYes, I had a similar experience. I remember it very well but not all that well.
Only we were at a strip club in Bangkok. My buddies wanted to know what trading was. I told them it was simply gambling and proved myself by placing random trades.
Even though I lost my arse, it was great fun.
At times, I want to go back and relive that time (and in fact, think I have).
Intended for humor only; please do not take offenseIgnored
DislikedThis thread poll lacks option for those who are profitable a few months, then loss a few months, then profitable a few months, then... It's call: "I'm not consistently profitable trader". Dead simple.Ignored
DislikedAccording to the trader explorer of ff,i would guess only 10% at best can be qualified as consistently profitable.Over the longer run, maybe less than 5%.Ignored
Dislikedyes i made profit for 6 months in a row in demo account and now im entering into real trade.. u can see EU wil reach 1.22247. now its price is 1.21735Ignored

DislikedThe poll has its limitations for sure. Just so much is available for customizing...but, it has its merit I think.
Thanks for the comment and insight.

DislikedTrue but it doesn't provide an option that a lot of traders face.
"No, but I have had a profitable month", I didn't choose this option because I have more than 1 profitable month, even though I'm never profitable consistently.
"No, I have never been", I've had a few months profitable in a row in the past, so, this's again not my option.
"Yes, I have been, but not currently", I've had a few months profitable in a row in the past and currently I'm profitable,...Ignored
DislikedWith the 95+ % of losing traders that we have all heard about, there are some questions that must be asked:
1. Was that percentage representative of newbie traders?
2. Of the profitable traders who took this poll, how long have they been trading?
3. What percentage of winners who took the poll trade using automated systems?
I'm sure more good questions are out there, but those come to mind.

DislikedBest option is not conducting poll . Lots of scammers just say they are doing in live although they operate at demo . So its best to post screen shots on thread .Ignored
DislikedThere is a question for those who may be trading with demo accounts.
FX4Ignored
Disliked"I am still trading in a demo account."
This does not assume that rest of statements in poll are related to live account...Poll should be clearly specified that is either for live or demo acount...not mixed at all....
Therefore poll is null!!!!Ignored
DislikedThe definition given for consistently profitable is very specific. If someone is trading using a Demo Account that is added information...by definition that person is not considered consistently profitable. It was an option so that information can be gathered about the cross-section of traders and adequate and realistic options given for the traders that may view it. I thought that leaving it out would not be ideal as I also wanted to account for those still trading in Demo Accounts. The information and percentages for Live Accounts only can...Ignored
