Hi all,
I suppose that the end of one year/start of the next is a perfect period for both reflection and looking forward. So, with that in mind, I wondered if any of you have thought of specific things/habits that you wish to start/stop/continue as we get stuck into 2016.
This thread isn't aimed for people to share trading systems particularly, more the smaller things that add up to create a system.
For example, for me, it's my plan to --
Never risk more than 1.25% of my capital per trade and stop trading for the day if this loss is reached
Only have one trade in the market at any given time
Stop trying catch 'falling knives' and wait for price action to settle before taking a position
Go for slow and steady targets, rather than trying to hit home runs with my trades
Keep a manual journal of my successful and unsuccessful trades
Continue to develop my knowledge on both the technical and fundamental sides of trading
To keep my charts as clean as possible
Be patient with trades.
To turn a profit!
I'm sure there are more, but that's me for now!
