DislikedEverything in Post 1 is current. Just follow the instructions. Load all the indicators and the templates and follow the 4 rules. It is very clear. Read the rules several times until you understand them well.Ignored
DislikedThanks Al - That's really helpful.
So, to be clear about how I would set my trade size. If I have 4% of my account in 'sub1', I would change the lot size so that it hit it's margin call when the trade went 100 pips against me, so it's like having a 100 pip stop loss. That would wipe out around half that account if that happened.
At that point I would switch that pair into recovery mode. Would I use another 4% account for that (or more simply, top the lost 2% into 'sub1' from my main account) or a higher/lower amount?
Finally, do you use the 1.1.2.4...Ignored

DislikedDonīt worry about sub accounts at this moment. When you have a much larger account to work with, you can start implementing this method. For now, have two accounts with the unused capital in one and the trading capital in the other. As you need more trading capital, you transfer more from the main account. The point of this is to have your main capital protected no matter what happens.
As far as the 4% limit, that is per position. With my system you can have as many positions open as you want, including 2 or 3 recovery positions if needed,...Ignored
DislikedFinally, I feel I can make a small contribution to this thread. A while back I asked for ideas on why my THV.3 Coral wasn't showing on my THV2 chart that Al posted describing his 4 hour trades. Everyone ignored my question. So I got to work and discovered that the THV3 T3.exe file is required as a driver in the Experts Indicator folder where the rest of the indicators are. You don't need to load it to your chart...it just needs to be in the indicators folder.
The THV3 chart has helped alot before deciding to use Recovery. I must see a clear trend...Ignored
DislikedHere are the 2 new templates that incorporate the 3 MTF TMAs. I will incorporate them to the Packet.zip file with future changes to the Dashboard or other indicators, so for now, download them from this post.Ignored

DislikedI use 1.1.2.4 where the first 1 is the original trade. Remember that if it ever gets to the unlikely point where you used the three recovery steps, the fourth requires that you close your original trade, and so on.
Yes. For recovery you would use another 4%+. I say plus, because since you are -100 pips, the first recovery trade will cost a bit more than the original trade in order to double the position.Ignored
DislikedAl,
I presume that 4% limit per position is based on the trading capital not based on your main capital. So for example my trading capital is 1000 dollar and my main capital is 5000 dollar. Than my 4% would be 40 dollars or should i take 4% is 200 dollars. Than with these 40 or 200 dollars i hav e to calculate my lot size, i want to take maximum 400 pips so it would be lotsize 0.1 or 0.4 ?
I hope you understand what i ask ?
Keep up the great work !Ignored
