DislikedHi Rad! Just found this last night, and want to test it. Im just a beginner so may ask a lot of stupid questions. First one, which broker is best? Im in Australia, so a Cent account with this company looks good as they are Aussie regulated BUT Roboforex account on Cent seems to offer ZERO pips: They each have their set guidlines though, and limits - do either of them best suit your EA best do you think? Im going to try a demo BUT would love to start 2 accounts to test of around $200 real dollars in ASAP so need to be sure the best broker for small...Ignored
Well, I think I need to emphasize a few points down below before you start to use Live account.
In Tickmill.com Exchange we get all of these:
- 1:500 leverage
- 0.3 - 0.4 pips average spreads (do mark up this number a bit, they promised as low as 0.2 pips but reality could be different)
- Margin Call 100%
- Stop Out 30%
- Commissions applied
- Market Execution (it is instant execution on demo)
While in Roboforex.com Pro-Cent we get all of these:
- 1:1000 leverage (for MT4)
- I assume 0.5 - 0.6 pips average spreads (they promised floating 0.4 pips)
- Margin Call 40%
- Stop Out 10%
- No commissions
- Market Execution
I wouldn't say which one is best and suit for the EA. But if you start using this EA with this broker other than tickmill, you may want to do these:
- Test it on their demo account first.
- Observe their trading conditions (leverage, margin call, stop out, spreads, commissions, execution type, nearly almost all aspects), and compare with tickmill. Leverage, Margin Call and Stop Out I think those are the most important factors to compare, while spreads is another important measurement as well.
- Build your own settings for that broker considering the differences in trading conditions above. Of course I think you need to lower down the settings. Tickmill has very high measurement in their margin call and spreads.
- Of course apply to demo, just to sure for abt 1 - 3 months.
- When you've done / sure about your settings and want to apply on live, set it to a lower settings before applying on live.
- If you feel within 3 months after running live account the settings are OK, you can increase the settings gradually (IF YOU REALLY WANT IT).
- Enjoy your profit and don't forget to donate.
I know it is a hard long process, but I just want you to feel sure that you guys are on the right path. I don't responsible for the money you've lost for applying this EA (as stated in License), but I feel very sad if it really happen in future.
Apparently I don't have any experience with Roboforex, but wanted to try them for comparison. It doesn't matter what broker you are using, as long as it is trusted and reliable.
And I think those tips is not for Jared77 alone, but for all of you guys reading this thread.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...
