The W chart is what I am interested more because of the H&S pattern....now the P is doing a RET on the NL (neck line)'s pattern...it will be very interesting to watch it !

Hello,

as I announced in a previous post, I created a quite rough video where I explain - within my limits - some of the basics of the WPD-WPG method.

I humbly beg pardon for my abusively awful, self taught English, I hope the speech is understandable at last.

The video is in full HD and is 1 hour and 20 minutes long

It covers the following topics:

Method general concepts.
Drawing the price levels and some criteria to place them well.
Some Metatrader little tricks to unclutter price levels.
Checking the monthly, then weekly and finally the daily time frames.
Checking what price is doing.
Visible effects of going with the trend.
Two WPD-WPG trade setups examples.
  1. Pin bar first target rule.
  2. Waiting for candles to close.
  3. Stop loss.
  4. Money management by following the price and letting profits run.
  5. Trading from level to level.

As long as the neckline acts as S we should look for long !

This pair is in bearish trend in all the TFs and closed bellow an important RM+ long time TL. All we have to do is to wait a RET in order to get the final TG with MM at these levels !

I hope I have drawn this correctly. If so, then the situation does not require words.

Obligatory money management at around 420 (see swing all to the left).

..We don't have an idea....we know for sure !
After the M BEOB at the RM's R it was clear that the P is going to the S...with bullish TL as first MM level.
All we have to do is ta wait for confirmation at the 1.5340 in order to see if the buyers will keep the P within the RM or the sellers will close bellow it with TG as in my chart !
thanks fxgroup. very helpful.
by the way my chart looks exactly like your newly posted gbp/usd chart. only my targets are your MM levels. hopefully I start to understand some of the stuff here.
thanks,

MM levels are a sort of target. What FXGroup does, however, is to consider a quite distant final target and then tries to keep the trades open at those intermediate MM levels. Sometimes price will bounce back and take him out making him lose 1-2 candles worth of profit, sometimes price goes through and this allows 5-6 more candles worth of profit.
That "get less money quick and for sure" vs "possibly get more money but later" is a choice ultimately left to your ability, practice, wallet and psychological factors.
