Evaluator thx for the explanation regarding the signals and your reasons for changing the settings, just wanted to ask in the second signal on the chart would you not have been stopped out at BE+1 as per the mew exit rules? I was stopped out which is fine for me and have entered another pending order 5 pips above the next signal i got.

My observation is the 5 pip pending order rule is more important than just taking the signals .... is this correct?

edit:I have now deleted the pending buy order as the sentiment indicator turned red and am waiting for the next signal

My order never reached 10 pips (no move stoploss) and the pullback was less than 30 pips stoploss. Also, because of broker restrictions and the spread my pending orders are 7 pips away not 5. 5 is the min distance and then you must add the 2 for the spread to make 7.

fugly,

The further away you are from original signal the weaker the signal. I normally take only the first 3 signals and let the orders ride if they are still open. Also, NO ONE can predict what some stupid politican will say and cause a markt panic or rally. That is the reason for stoploss to protect your account and hopefully one has make enough to more than cover the loss.

Evaluator,

I believe you are right, It does signal after the bar close. Sorry, I've tested it once again, and In my case it signals at the opening of the candle. If at the opening of the candle, the all 4 squares are one color, the system signals to open trade, even if the 4 squares can be repainted when the candle is closed.

however unfortunately for me it's really uncomfortable to work on 5 min timframe, 15 min would be just perfect, but I can't seem to find the right settings for it... the it's almost always behind,...
What does this indicator?

My first order for the day. Evaluator I find i'm getting in a bit late because the sentiment indicator shows a late signal, is it ok to enter if we have a signal on extreme, trend, emotion but not on the sentiment?

fugly,

Looking at you chart you have 3 good sell levels I see. However, if you have want to enter earlier with full signal try to increase7decrease the sensitivity of the extreme value. Try 0.002 - 0.05 or 0,00057 -0,05 whatever you feel better fits but does not pull the Matrix out of sync. (left screenshot less sensitive right screenshot is more sensitive)

Evaluator.

P.S. Theses are the standard settings I listed on post#1 in link #15,842

fugly,

Looks further at your chart....Why did you enter on the 3rd Symphonie Signal and not take the first or second ones? The 1st and 2nd would be in some good profit now.

I did place the first order on the first arrow you have drawn but it was not executed as price didn't reach my sell stop (I place the order 5 pips below signal candle), then when sentiment turned blue i canceled the order and waited.

Next I got the second signal at the second arrow you have drawn and I once again placed a sell order at 5 pips below signal candle but that didn't trigger either and when sentiment turned blue I canceled that and waited.

Next I got the third signal which I took at the arrow you have drawn, moved my sl to B/E at +10pips and was stopped out for no loss.

Waited again and got another signal and am currently in the trade as shown in the chart below.

I'm actually quite happy so far because I'm definitely seeing improvement

1st day i had 3 losses
2nd day I had 2 losses and 2 B/E
3rd day I had 1 loss and 2 B/E
4th day (today) I have had one b/E and in a trade with some small profit so far.

As long as i get better at minimizing losses in the initial days hopefully I'm making progress.

What do you say Evaluator?

I appreciate your guidance

thx

I have also adjusted by matrix settings so that sentiment gives quicker signals as you've suggested.

fugly,

When I see a Symphonie Signal I usually give the signal 12 bars before canceling if not filled, even if Sentiment changes.... That can improve your entries sometimes. If however, if the order has no fill at the end of 12 bar then I cancel and wait for next signal. That is not a rule or guideline it is just something I do.

All successful and well know systems will eventually fails, for the simple reason that the bank will come to know of it and device ways to defeat it. So please keep quiet.
That is so because if not majority will be profiting from their trades and who is losing?

I have been testing the bullbear and cycle identifiers and it appears to be stable. I have been trading in 5min timeframe for the past 8 hour and have had 8 winning trade and 1 loss for a total win in pips of 88 pips in the positive. These are very short and small pip levels smallest win 2 pips and larger pip win was 23 pips.

Basically I just trade the cycle extreme markers in the direction of the trade colors from bullbears I only trade after as they reach an extreme in the cycle identifier and the color change in the bullbear.

Time to...
Can anyone tell me how to put both these indicators into one window please?
