EUR/CHF
Im with you on that one Brixton. Did you also take the Eur/Aud short? Im especially keen on Euro shorts..."if" they trigger(smile) more than other plays right now for one reason. LAST week the Prime Minister of France announced that they are Bankrupt and the euro goes up all week! There has been such a torrent of horrible news coming out of Greece and other terminally ill countries in the Euro Union I am baffled that all this manipulation has held the Euro up so long. So, my feeling is that when a Euro short does trigger, it will either be manipulated back up as the JPY has been doing, or we could see a drop so hard and so fast, your nose will bleed. Im taking that bet.

Forecast: Euro down big by end of the month

I know we arent supposed to play news, but this is a rediculous gift fellas, dont you think? Just wait for the Euro shorts to trigger and jump in. Im even thinking of adding after the first red bar closing in my favor and putting the stop above that bar for the added lot. A chance like this may not come along again in a long time, where the ordinary guy gets to get in on the news first!

As an aside, I have not been patient enough ion waiting for the exact plays, and Ive been getting in as long as the 72 and 12 are even near each other with price under both....and still winning small amounts! But I admit, Id have likely done better by doing it the way FX PRO SAID. We live....and we learn.

I assume you meant a long trade you took this week? According to the OP's system, UTX would have been a long set-up, at least as I understand it.

I'm doing well, Sonic. How are you?

Neat little system the OP put together here. I have been doing something similar on the hourly charts using the 34 ema dragon and the 89 ema.

I do Brixton. But not since starting this system. I closed my equities acct. But with the leverage Forex gives you, and you still love stocks, you must have a sizable acct. In your opinion, with double margin, how much do you feel a person needs in a stock brokerage acct with this system to beat the gains of a Forex acct? Put another way, for each thousand dollars in a forex position, how much moeny would you need in a equities position to come out with the same profit at the end of the year?

Hey, that is an awesome question! Bet very few people know. -)

Ok Here we go…

The Logic Behind this method….
  1. We are taking three days average as a main trend i.e... 72 EMA (1hr Each Bar = 72 Bars for three days) & will look for a trades on every pull back from the main trend. So we only trade in the direction of the trend
  1. The intraday trend 12EMA (1hr Each Bar = 12 Bars for the day) it will calculate the average over the past 12 hours and confirms that we are moving in the right direction for the day
[list=1][*][b]Finally The Price Action gives us the...
Are there enough plays per week if system is followed correctly? Im not getting enough!
Gentlemen,

I truly enjoy knowing I am following a system exacty to a T. But I am not getting enough trades, maybe one a week if I wait for "the bounce" of price off the 72. What I am getting and making money with is price either 1-breaking thru the 72 along with the 12ema and as long as they are 2 or 3 bars from each other, I take the trade, often have under a 20 pip risk which I now to 20pips minimum automatically(or else Im playing pay the market maker) or #2-Price breaks thru the 72 and within 7 or 8 bars comes right back thru it. I will take either of those trades and not doing bad. How many plays are you guys seeing on average playing strictly by the system Forex Pro gave us. Im not even using the bands yet. I love this the way it is. Pro claims he gets an average of 12 plays a week and he only plays one pair. I cant get 12 pairs a week and I will play anything combining the major currencies. Whats up with that? I usually play the asian session or London because Im sleeping during the NY. COULD THAT BE HURTING ME?

Pro claimed 12 a month, not per week. I get around 3-4 a week, but this week has been very slow, only 1 trade that was break even.

ABout which entries. I really look to price action. The entry bar needs to be strong and engulf the previous bars. Egulfing bars teel us that one side of the market is in control, be it buyers or sellers. If it takes several small bars to cross the 12ma then i wont take the trade because the bars them self don't confirm anything.

Hi, Fx-Pro,

I just read your thread and other guys' replies. It is obviously a very simple and efficient method to trade in FX market. After reading most of replies from other supportive members in you thread, I just had an idea how to increase the chance for us to "ride on the right wave".

While I was trying your method in both of my live and demo account, I used MFT ( Multi-Time-Frame-Analysis) with TF ( H1-H4-D1). Using A/U as an example, when the 12 EMA crossed down with 72EMA, I checked not only H1 and H4 but also D1. If all of them were crossing down with 72 EMA, then the trend in A/U should have been considered "SELL" only. We should wait for the PA touch the 72 EMA in a PA reversal pattern( eg. morning star) to set a "short" trade.

Also, I suggest to use Heiken Ashi indicator which is very useful to help us make right decision as well but not necessary. It is very important for me to insist the simplicity of your method because it's very independent and clear method.

Finally, I really appreciate your efforts and supports. It really has me understood the FX market trading much better than before.

Best regards

Thanx Brix,

You are right. He said 12 a month. But that was just with one pair, right? So, I was hoping we would get 50 a month if we were using 12 or 20 pairs with strong currencies only of course. But as you said it has been slow. I never thought it could be this slow. I will try to be patient. But at least I know I am on the right track. And yes, I too love it when it is an engulfing bar that puts me into the trade. They really are such powerful reversal bars and in the right place, continuation.

Good luck guys. Some times waiting is the hardest part of trading.

Unfortunately, this "system" as most of the "systems" here could work for it's publisher and not for all other so called traders. Don't get me wrong, I have no intention to say it's bad. It is as good as all other "systems". However, you should change your mind first. Seems like the author could do that. Happy trading.
For my fallen angels.
