These emas gives me more structure.

Currently in this thread we use the 4ema shift 2 and the 200ema.

The 4ema shift 2 works fine as well as the 200ema

I replaced my 4ema shift 2 with the 10ema.
I have the 50ema, 200ema and the 800ema .

Please note that i am not changing any rules.
I am just showing you guys how to give your charts more structure and to increase the probability of your trades.
This is exactly what these emas has done for me and i want to share the knowledge.

If you do not feel comfy with these emas then do not add them.
Use what is working for you.

Some traders will say this emas work better than that emas. and then another trader will come with his own emas.
The fact of the matter is that all emas work if you know how to make it work .
All we need to do is master what we are using and what we feel comfy with.
So we have to keep this in mind if we are going to use these emas.

I will explain further why i use these emas in my later posts so it will become clearer.

Can you share with me your 1 year experience, your steps for learning Forex, as I'm a beginner and I would like to filter as much information as possible

I am reading " Trading for Living " by Alder and after I finish with that planning to start baby pips school , am also watching Nison candles video

I would like to understand Price Action and Trading Psychology , and am reading as much info as possible about PA (Price Action)

I hope I'm in the right way to learning how to trade Forex

Everyday I open my chart in a huge Electronic White Board and just look at the chart and try to analysis Price Action as if am learning a new language and try start speaking

Nothing to do with the S3, but everything to do with trading for money. 123 on the 1 hr and a smaller earlier 123 on the 15min.

You have put in all that work to make yourself profitable
Now the most important part is to be consistent.
Do what you do everyday.
The market moves almost the same everyday just with different variations thats all.
Master the flow
EU is the easiest to master.
EJ is the second easiest to master.

Took the losing trade today. Was wondering whether my analysis was correct. What were your views on this one?



Third last candle is LO. It has followed bearish engulfing patternt. Even if low would have been broken, I would not consider going short- green above red. Then LO candle created double bottom higher close, same time the low of the previous day was broken. Second candle with green over red. Red is sloping up, yellow is neutral. There is enough room before EMA200. Regarding Phx62, if Asian makes a significant move, the London/US session usually follows. This was the case, however, patterns indicated bullish strength.

If your analysis was similar, where would you place SL? I closed mine below engulfing pattern.

Hey Scorps , I think with what you are doing already , you will soon be getting on very nicely --do loads of back testing , The only thing i could add would be to follow X-MANS advice and learn only EU 1 hour first , and study PHX62 charts .and never give up !!

1...since the US Congress reached an agreement regarding the "fiscal cliff", I would only be looking for a short trade based on "perceived" dollar strength from that announcement.
2...Because the green and red lines are below the yellow Market Base Line....and the recent trend is down (draw a line from the top left corner of your chart to the bottom right corner) I do not see bullish strength.
3...Price is below the 200EMA....until it breaks back above the 200, I would consider the market to be bearish.
4...The LO candle was a fake out candle, which happens regularly at LO...price moved up a little then pushed down.....
Based on this analysis, I was only looking to take short trades during the past 24 hours.
