Might be best to stay out of the market until after the New Year.... low volume, increased volatility.. risk..

With GBPJPY and EURJPY, this keeps happening with the THV system (and any chart) when I go to the M1 charts. It does not happen when I do the same with GBPUSD or EURUSD.

Anyone know how I fix this?

Thanks,
Stearno

some indicators have to be opened up and time frame adjusted. perhaps check on that and then ask again if that does not work

I tried with a blank chart (no indis) and every pair works, except for EURJPY and GBPJPY. If you notice at the one line below at 0.000 level. I don't know why there is a line there, but that seems to be causing the problem.

I can ask in Platform Tech forum since this is now found to not be THV related. Thanks for your suggestion!

***Update***
I thought I already did this, but I deleted my .hst files and then redownloaded in History Manager in MT4. THat fixed the problem. As can see in EURJPY screenshot, somehow 0 numbers go into the history data. So deleted those two lines and now works.

Again, thanks for the suggestion/help!

what do you mean?that's more attachment to MTF cloud by misspips. u should read the manual of thv about mtf cloud rule which stated as scalping way.

Thanks for the reply. I am not a new trader, but I am new to the system, which I now understand fully. How do those boxes measure trend, it is a MTF scenario? What does each box mean? I am into detail like that. Thanks again for your help.

Regards

I just realized that I quoted the wrong person. My question is about the trend strength on the V4 Trix. How does it measure trend strengh? What do each one of those bars represent?

These boxes can not measure anything, forget them,it's just a cosmetic additive.

Okay, thanks. I will just use V3 Trix so they will not distract me.

Could you quote the specific rules out here? I'm pretty sure I read them carefully unless there is something that I'm missing? Thanks

Or can you direct me to the thread that Misspips states the cloud rules?

You can look to see what happened after this appeared and have your answer.

One thing you should be aware of is that when the trend is flat.. might be best to stay out of the market. This is a trend following system.. you want the trend to be developed so that you do not get whipsawed.....

A 5 minute chart is going to cost you money, many of your trades will fail...... IMHO
That's very important for you to point out. Fou guys just learned the system are eager to put the strategy into practice. This made it very easy for them to miss the big picture. Me myself didn't do very well in trading gold in the ranging market last few days.

Stay out till there is a clear trend.
Happy new year.

Yesterday and today the pivots (THV3) have all been bunched up with the start of day and end of day markers also being the wrong way around.
Any ideas how to correct?

Yes i do have the exacly same problem like you, every hour pivots recalculating. I am using that system for probably 3 years never had that problem before until now.I mean i cant keep the day start like it was always before, lets say 00.00GMT, the day on pivots now starts from every Hour and pivots start calculating every hour as well. I am sure the problem is beacuse of new year start. something wrong with the code i guess. Lets waite for somebody with the some problem .
