I am quite new to trading and I am intrigued by this thread.

Several years ago I attempted end of day trading using fibs, taking trades at either of these 4 levels 61.8, 78.6, 127, 161.8.

I would use the distance of the swing from point A to B to determine price projection and potential reversals complimenting any of those 4 levels above.

I would make sure trade has at least 1:3 risk reward ratio.

I stopped trading due to personal reasons and I would like to start trading again this time on a full time basis.

What time frame do you mainly use to conduct your trading and how often do you trade every month?

Both of you are can be correct. It depends on where price goes from here. If price goes up your ABCD will be correct, if price goes down the BAT pattern could form.
H1 EURUSD seems forming a bearish butterfly. Previous bar is a pin bar and supported by previous demand region. A test to place a buy stop on few pips above previous bar high and target for the point D. A dangerous test as I speculate it is a butterfly rather than it is formed already.

What time frame do...
Mr Pip day trades on a smaller time frame to get several opportunities per day. A higher time frame like H1 will give you less opportunities and maybe not see a pattern every day. He has said that he knows whats happening on higher time frames even while trading the lower time frames. That will come with experience.
have only been demo trading and using micro accounts with little success so far.
here's my first stab at trying out trading with just patterns..

It may go up to D but risky trade. Not enough bulls involved yet. All C trades are riskier than D trades. As I'm writing the bulls are showing signs of life. We'll see...

Mr Pip hasn't gone over the bat pattern yet. He has his own set of rules that qualifies a pattern that he has optimized over the years. He said his least favorite is the BAT.

Thanks for the reply. I am not actually at trading mode but was rather just trying out manually identifying the common patterns.

We are all waiting for more insights from Mr Pip eagerly, but without knowing even how to draw the patterns on the charts, his teachings will fly over my head!

I was very pleased to be able to draw this bat, but my son said it looked more like a dead butterfly!!!

EDIT: Right after posting..Bat flew up 40 pips
ready to break "B" from "C" . on the way to "D". trade from C to D , shortly called BAMM

after we're in D where known as PRZ..we could trade from D to B ( at least) ...
