I want to start 2013 with brand new trades. Therefore, this will be a short term trade. It's on the 15 mins frame.

This trade might have legs on the D1 as well. Let's see if it does.

Not only did that trade didn't have legs on D1, I also got stopped at 1.3096.

But I had a market order at 1.3103 that got filled, was using the 4 hour chart, and I'm now in positive pips

i saw the tenkan was crossing the kijun from below. although chikou span was below PA, and PA was below the could, parabolic telling short too.

You think you're confused! The volatility at this time is making my head spin.

That's why I had a pretty tight stop loss and a new order for a long. I usually just place a S/L. But not this time. Too volatile.

Simply put, going short on H4 seemed like a good idea at the time. Turned out it wasn't. Not trying to dodge the question, just that I don't really know what else to tell you.
naah, i can understand that. having head ache as well, despite the decent pips.

good one on this long, grats! i saw the chikou bounced a bit off the top of the cloud on 4H (at 3100ish, if i am not mistaken).

i don't use ichimoku, still learning a good exit system on that.

anyways, thanks. will look into your next update.

edit: sorry, bounced off on the hourly tf. that dip to 3095, before going up all the way. yet, the hourly can be a lot misleading.

Being wrong on that short the other day is turning out to be my favorite mistake.

I had a stop loss and a market order at 1.3103 that I have been holding onto ever since.

The entry was based on H4 chart because I wussed out of a daily trade plan a while ago (don't listen to others).

Now, check out this weekly chart.

If it hold above .3355, it's a HUGE and happy sign for the bulls.

IF it holds.
My long from 1.3103 has now been stopped at 1.3315 for +212 pips.
