Abraham Lincoln had the Internet?
He sure did. That's why he lived in a cabin. So he could "log" on.

The graph shows the pound and the Australian dollar, now goes out with the risks. And it will have an impact on the euro. It is true in the long term, I think the pound will rise at least to the level of 1.8450 but only after 5-6 months.
The Australian dollar is trading near all-time highs and it is therefore considered a long position simply makes no sense.
Well, just bought a euro time, though not for long. to address the problem of the EU countries have two choices 1) to remove these countries from the EU, and 2) to restore the manufacturing sector. And to solve problems issuing loans simply do not make sense, because money just to settle with banks and will not work. And when it comes time to repay loans, the money will not appear again and again run the risk of defaulting.

Outside the pentagon is above the 1.330x area. And price is currently at the 1.318x area. I don't see a huge gap outside the pentagon. But other charts are showing some bullish signs.

I think that when the fiscal cliff is resolved we might see some rallies in higher yielding assets...and by correlation Eur/Usd

but the more the US gov stalls especially at this time the more pronounced the bearish correction will be.

NZD/USD, AUD/USD Christmas Rally Fading - ASB

23 Dec 2012, 20:29

1929 GMT [Dow Jones] The NZD/USD and the AUD/USD are trading lower early in New Zealand as "the Christmas rally has faded pretty quickly," says Tim Kelleher, ASB's head of FX Institutional Sales New Zealand. He notes that investors "were speculatively long kiwi...and it probably got a little bit stretched last week." A combination of the fiscal cliff, low equities and some risk off are weighing on both pairs, he says. "It's just some pretty severe profit-taking." The NZD/USD is at 0.8236 versus 0.8302 late Friday and Kelleher says it has support around 0.8200 and resistance at 0.8250. The AUD/USD is at 1.0400 versus 1.0453 late Friday in Australia and Kelleher puts support at 1.0375 and resistance at 1.0425-1.0450.

Sri Lanka Officials Arrest 100 Chinese Nationals on Currency Fraud Charges

23 Dec 2012, 20:54

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AFP)--Police in Sri Lanka have arrested 100 Chinese nationals on charges of currency fraud in a string of raids in and around the capital Colombo, officials said Saturday.

"They have defrauded their countrymen by making them...transfer money to accounts maintained in Sri Lanka in the names of those arrested," Prishantha Jayakody, a senior superintendent, told AFP.

Police said that the 74 men and 26 women were arrested Friday night at their residences in and around the capital following a court order. Those arrested were to appear in court later Saturday.

Thousands of Chinese work in Chinese-funded development projects across the island. Many more arrive on tourist visas and work in the hospitality industry.

China has been investing heavily in Sri Lanka as it enlarges its presence in South Asia.

In June, the tropical island nation opened Sri Lanka's first Chinese-built port, for which China loaned money. The port was seen as a strong symbol of Beijing's investment and interest in the region.

China is also building a second port in Colombo and Chinese firms have pledged investments totalling $50 billion spread over the next 10 to 15 years, according to Sri Lanka's trade ministry.

Regional power India views Sri Lanka as firmly within its sphere of influence and has been concerned about China getting a foothold there and in other surrounding countries.
