Hey man. Can you explain why you entered on those 3 levels?

Thanks! And Happy Holidays!

Yes these were taken when price was inside the very tip of daily supply, but as added confluence the USDX was inside D1 and just hitting H4 demand (I have a screen setup for USDX)

Also the EU was also right into daily supply so there was a lot of things to support getting short.

Here's the green arrow on the USDX at the point I entered short on EU and GU. Now you can see how I managed such tight entries.

Thanks for the response. One more silly question. Are those small circles an indicator (and what does it show)? I think I've seen it on AceGazzete if i recall correctly.

It's the Chaos Semafor indicator, based off the zigzag that shows 3 levels of highs and lows. Basically useful as a trend indicator, looks great in hindsight but repaints. I use it over multiple timeframes and have found it handy to keep me from exiting trades prematurely.

KennyZ uses it on Ace Gazette, probably the best trader I know. I strongly recommend everyone studies this guy's charts.

Yeah and I definitely have far fewer blow out days now. I very rarely hit my daily loss limit. I'm trading with smaller position size (no longer full standard lots) but running the trades further now. If I get a string of losses they don't hurt the account as much so it's also less stressful.

I actually rarely look at the M1 these days since I was finding most of the best levels lined up with an M5 level anyway.

I'm quite comfortable holding trades, here's my current EU and I'm very relaxed with this trade.
Getting some nice longer move these days so m5 is working well you will back to m1 and 6tp soon I bet.
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

lol we'll see. It's all down to the trading range. If things tighten up again I can always get back to grinding it out on the M1 if needed.

Having said that my swing demo account is absolutely murdered my scalp account this week!

Yes but you have closed lots of swing plus trades this week... so no surprise

So next week is christmas week... looks like more of a scalping week, huh?

True, and I guess I didn't really apply sound money management lol. I've got about 20 odd open positions still.

Next week is break time. No trading until after new year.

yo c-12, i'm gonna start some spread betting/swings and was wondering if you knew of a broker that is mt4, has the dollar index and a good range of CFDs? I was using Ava but they limit demo accounts to 10 days or something so is a bit of a drag also their spreads are terrible. cheers.

Have a look at GKFX.

They don't have the USDX though but they have a ridiculous amount of CFD's. You can trade pretty much anything. Spreads are reasonable on the majors and crosses but nothing like Armada.

Payments and withdrawals have been excellent.

I wouldn't scalp with them though and requotes can be a pain in the arse but for trading H4 levels I think they're ok.

Would you still consider Armada markets the non plus ultra? i am test scalping with pepperstone and im not satisfied with the connection, very often it breaks up for split seconds which hurts a true scalper

thats why i considered testing armada markets?!

Looking at MBTrading.co.uk currently, looks to be the cheapest Spreads / Costs wise, got to compare the true costs of there Free EXN or Commision based, horrible system though compared to FXCM.

Shame on the hassle Wiring Money in and out and only 100:1 Margin, but needs must I guess.

Anyone got any comments on them ??

Definitely worth trying Armada. I used to trade with Pepperstone. They are a great broker but the lag really affected execution.

Armada aren't perfect, they're charts are a bit glitchy on the higher time frames but the speed of execution is the best I've found.
