It is a good EA in Demo account. I like it. Thanks alot for your sharing it! Do you still work on it? Sometimes it appears "Trading not allowed", I change gmtshift to my local, it does not work yet. And can I add more currency pairs in it, or try test on Gold? I found it works very well in 3 max open orders (default is 5). Hope to see a new upgrade version soon.

I'm new on this forum I used ichimoku EA on demo and it performs very well, however I want to ask is there any chance to configure this EA that ignores all other signals except tenkensen/kijunsen cross. for example if kijun sen crosses tenkensen from above we open sell order and close order then kijunsen crosses tenkensen from a bottom and vice versa for a buy signal. I tried change some parameters on this EA but it does not perform as i want. please help

But I want thank you for your pm's (I try to answer them when I have more time in the upcoming weeks).

I know that there are some bugs in the code/logics, so due to lack of time and high professional coding skills I am thinking about giving the whole code to a professional programmer to check/rewrite it and posting it here again then (would be at my own costs).

It is just a guess, but maybe that could make sense (yes, I feel a little bit uncomfortable with leaving that thread with an "half-finished" EA).

ie, buy when the price cross above the cloud with an independent candle
and vice versa

Can anybody post statement here. Normal MT4 statement not ONLY extracts from screen and other limited images where impossible evaluate DD, ProfitFactor ETC ?

edit: there was at least one bug. In eurusd the m15 breakout ~25 mins ago the ea got also.

I am fairly new to trading but have decided that the cloud is the way to go and focus my early energy.

I have just started to get to grips with v1.3.......I have started to make serious money in a demo account without too much trouble(!) and then you have thrown in a couple more versions!

I am hoping you can help with a couple points?

* What are you hoping to improve on with the latest versions - why are they better than 1.3? What new features should i really be looking to understand? What were the major problems in 1.3? Do the latest versions offer a bigger return?

* Could you provide a few of your tried and tested 'sets' so i can see what your settings are and i can use them as a starting point on my demo account?

* Why have removed the 'confirmation using the 2nd TF?' I think this is an important feature? I maybe wrong!

Great job and your EA has allowed me to start to make some 'money' for the first time which is a great feeling and pushes me on to learn more!

Of course, but all in its proper time. What I want to say - i did not find the best settings.
Currently this ea runs on demo to see if everything (me personally need) works like intended.

I assume that one of the best is to set one inital SL (maybe fixed or calculated by ATR) and to set the ichimoku settings not too strong, e.g. ignoring the kumo and the chikou span could make sense. After xyz pips set the trade to BE and let it trail by somewhat (e.g. jumpingstop). test a little bit,

version 4, less bugs

do not forget to set "TradeLong" and "TradeShort" to "true".
You can limit the open trades also and play around with the different SL and Trailing settings .

Have you checked out this thread. Its pretty much the same as what you have done with regards to the Ichimoku EA. But it places a trades on break-outs only.

I have moved to v4 simply because there is so much flexiobility in the set up which should help when the good results dry up! Good work!

I am having plenty of fun playing with the settings.

Wondering if you can clear something up for me?

I have a 15 pip jump stop set up which as you can see in the picture seems to have worked once but then it seems to have stopped working? I would have expected a further drop down of the SL after the big move? What am i missing?!
