i wanted to add..dont think too much ..remember this game is about an edge u have which occurs over and over when it happen u react..it is this simple..from a statistically point of view.. if u do it 10 times u should make more than u lose..its not about being right or wrong..

infact over analysing means yur placing a bias on being right!!..and then it goes wrong..yur paralysed, because of the expectation of being right (mark douglas stuff), u have to remove all bias so u dont care and then the parameter that finish people have no effect on u..and...

imo 5% is huge 10 wrong trades and you fuck half. and this could happen in 1 day. last week i had every day at least 3-4 trades.... if something goes bad, in 2 days crashed half or more equity? hell NO!
my entries are about 0.5% risk. i mean: if stop loss is reached (usually 50 to 80 pips max) i lose 0.5% equity. 15-30trades x week. then in case of good confidence i cut some stop loss (move to BE) and add another 0.5%. had a good teacher about this in the recent past. before having these rules, account was never growing. or growth chart was similar to a usdcad h1: up down up down up down but definetely going nowhere.
a standard account (10-20k to 50k) can aim for a 5% in 2 weeks if you have balls.
big accounts.... LOL.

on the other hand... i have no idea about the meaning of R/R rules and how are they respected. maybe this is so obvious to me: if stop loss must be 70pips far, why take the trade if target 40?

a pretty convinced/confident seller at that ...
PO triggered. Revised my PO yesterday before i went to sleep.

It is actually about 50% of the breakout 4h candle. This position is quite high, which is about 30 pips from my initial PO (initial: 6040, revised: 6068 - considered the lowest 6065 plus ~3pips spread), but due to the weakness in the pullback momentum, i'm willing to take higher price, with smaller position size.

There's another formula that can keep you in the game forever. Not literally but long enough. Key is to be very mechanical and non-emotional. If it's 5%, then make it 5% of the current capital (not the beginning balance). So that even if 50 trades go wrong in a row, it's always like 5% of 95%, then 5% of 90% and so on. It will quite a few trades before you even get to half. cheers.
