And this is what caught my eye when i was going throu my 4 hr charts this morning..and major reason why i took this trade.... note 2 engulfing candles in big square at base of candle.. any how had enough.. of t bed

Yep a hl engulfing candle on 4hr is a great set up, nice one.

I am just marking what i see as positive candles.. als mark what i see as group of consolidating candles and look for break out..simple stuff.. didnt go any were thou Hey
Actualy it did go some were but i wasnt in it .. and failed at supply line..

Short term bias was up against the D charts which had not yet signaled. Price action very erratic.

15 Nov

EUR - D RSI crossed above its MA but still below 50 level, did not close above 8 lwma. I am not aware of any fundamental game changing news so viewing this as a pause in downtrend. If this is not the case and the start of move up then can probably expect another few days up and down whilst a D double bottom/higher low forms. 4hr appears to have broken lower high lower low flow. The move above the W pivot was rejected strongly and we have the potential for a head and shoulders pattern, clearly seen on 1hr. Negative (sell) divergence on 4 and 1hr.

Short term bias up with potential sell from W pivot.

GU - Much clearer charts than EUR. Whilst the daily ranges are shrinking we are still on lower high lower lows. The W pivots and support/resistance levels clear again from yesterdays range.

Bias down.
I am not following EU/UD or Cable at mo.. just wild stuff... have got some out to day Aussie day... of GBPJY.. Aussie/ud and Jy.. am watching the three at mo similar pattens .. 5 mi charts.. looking for the adud.. go a little further down anthen bounce hard.. not that i really know..here is pic of AD.. looking for bounce.. aroung 0340ish.. this is 30 min chart.. the other 2.. are not in same position chart wise as this.. Patience Hey??

Yes Mrs V sold GU 1.5845 3 hrs ago on what looked OK at the time but now sideways junk. Aha I see its now trying to go lowerif it does, if it doesn't as that would be her first loss for month.

I see AUD got support 1.0350 area 31 Oct and 1 and 6 Nov so maybe your bounce up coming here. Such a good D neg close Y from a resistance level should follow through lower though.

V.. Aussie 4 hr.. look bullish me.. have long possie.. also just scalped of lows for 15.. 5 min and 1 min..

Also 4 hr gold.. iam longish this and have taken possie.. alsosee first resistance 1718.. so if it gets there will take off.. but thinking hier..

EUR - D pos close stopped by the 1.2810 support/resistance level and W pivot. 4hr and 1hr flow on higher high higher low. Strong push US session on news. Bias up but efforts to go lower would be no surprise.

Darn, posted this on blog this am. I was out at a meeting, Mrs V also out and missed. Oh well thank goodness Monday is another day. SR levels (1 Oct low), W pivots, lower high engulfing closes working like a charm again.

Relatively narrow ranges this week. Another week, the same story, the W pivots and SR areas prove their worth yet again. Weird trying to upload attachments brings me to FF home page??? Posted charts on blog.
I got a message about the eur comment bias up but efforts to go lower would be no surprise.

Bias up easy, D positive close through the 8 lwma, RSI crossed its ma up. Certainly has chance to go up.

Efforts to go lower would be no surprise:
  1. D lower high lower low still in play
  2. Hit the 1 Oct low, and
  3. W M3 pivot on 15th and there's always the possible of a reaction from there back into trend i.e. down.
  4. More likely move down to form dble bottom, higher low on D than to just go straight up

Anatomy of a trading day. Posting these from time to time as it never ceases to amaze me how often days play out like this.

Made a high the prev day and 1hr flow flipped over from higher high higher low to make lower highs.

15 min engulfing neg close left arrow down. Avoid the pre/early US counter trend fake out. 2b then lower high back into days trend. We have had relatively narrow range days so 1.2700/W M2 a good target.

At a 2% risk when a few days a month run like this (and its more than a few days pm) your monthly returns will be impressive.

In Jan this year we took about 7 days to bottom out and finally move up from the general area where we are now. Getting close to that 7 days time now. I don't know if its up or down but I do think we're getting close.

interesting observe..will watch..I just see indecision here to nite with maby a very bland attempt to go hier.. on the 4/5 i look at.. i have a long AUDJY but no real confidence.. i should close.. and go bed.

Prob best plan, sometimes walking away is the best option. Hopefully US session will do something.
