i am shorting the doom thing 1665 should cap will add if we get their , might be wrong,

what u see mate
As long as there is a printing press I see a bull market... I think we saw China and India today in a big way... may be maybe not I saw big orders selling but getting absorbed and FOMC took us to a MM level and it bounced instead of a selloff. Although this last blip over the last while is larger than the stastical average over the last decade it may mean that the push up is proportionally larger (biggest triangle ever has formed). Thus if it is a true bull market we should get to the right inflation adjusted number sooner rather than later.

We have formed this triangle on top of the multi decade trend channel (v. bullish). Gold loves to form triangles since we reach $850 in the 80's.

Gold inflation adjusted (real sgs) hit about $10k in the 80's when it reached $850... we are a long way off... first step would be to transform this latest high into support.

Aslong as CPI shows higher numbers and printing is on the cards... even if we temporarily stop its still buy the dip unless $1500 gives way (triangle base). So there you have the risk, and you see the reward.

This last dip may have been the final test. Next 30 days might be crazy if this is true (are we in the eye of a storm)?

Great post!

I still hold plenty in my long term account...heading north...with orders down as low as 1460.

With printing presses chugging, and when two bags of western-world groceries can cost > $100...I just can't see a return to sub $1000 inedible, useless, archaic, yellow metal anytime soon.

Not a hunch where the EURO will go on. Up or down.
Today's investments are only reflexes and this sh*t that takes just as long as the bad weather continued the last two weeks here in Switzerland. The market seems burn out.
A good lather is half the shave.
