Hi Frank.. I was referring to the two indicators u posted for the Sup/Dem. They both have the same name only the extensions r different. Hence was wondering what's the difference between the two..
One is the source file (mq4), the other is the compiled executable file (ex4)

You need the ex4 for using the indicator on the chart. Mq4 is needed only if you wish to modify the indicator.

Al, when you trade H1 the TMA slope value in M15 is still important?
If H1 and H4 are ranging but M15 is buy or sell only do you wait?

A lot of questions today.... thank you for your patience with me....
Sabry, my perfect trade is when M15, H1 and H4 are all Buys or Sells on the Dashboard. They can be Grey and not all colored.

My second best trade is when M5, M15 and H1 are all Buys or Sells on the Dashboard. Again, they donīt all have to be colored. They can be Grey. I have not lost on those trades yet.

Tkx for response Al. 1 more thing, the eu seems to be coming around but im not so sure about gu, i have a short on gu and thinking whether should increase my position to recover it nor not.
Besides this do u suggest scalping e/g was gonna buy at .8155, in the thoguht that when gu starts falling e/g will go up.
I would not play the Euro long against anything. Regarding GU, it will come down, but not as fast as Euro.

Here is a fantastic indi that takes up very little screen real estate.

It gives the ADX value for M1, M5, M15, M30, H1 and H4.

In case you donīt know, ADX is a great Trend indicator. An ADX value below 20 indicates Ranging. Above 20 a Trend Up or Down. Above 40 a Very Strong Trend. The indi will not only give you the value, it also shows Green if Trend is Up or Red if Trend is down, plus the rate of change in the trend. All in one Row of data. Fantastic.

They are the same but in different format. If you know a little bit about programming then you know the difference. If not then just load either one of them in MT4, it'll work. Frank

Hi, if they are not coloured then grey means ranging but do you mean if all timeframes have the same sign eg all positive or all negative ???

No. Grey Buy or Sell means that price is beyond the outer band but not all of the other rules are valid. Generally the one missing is the color change of the HA bar. But having three time frames beyond the band and one Colored Buy or Sell is enough for me because you are getting an HA color change. It is very improbable that you will get three colored Buys or Sells at the same time, because by the time the longer time frame changes HA color, the small TF is already inside the band. So three Buys or three Sells with the smaller TF being colored is as good as itīs going to get.

Hi Al, how are you today, took a two nice trades today on GU and EU but it has been a bit choppy for me so have been quite careful and patient.

Hope your trading is going smoothly today

If you have a trade that has made it to the other side of the tma but because of an early entry that trade is actually a loss, do you close it or wait for break even? What if you are using recovery and it hasn't gotten to break even for the combined total of all trades?

Check where the 1 hour TMA is in relation to the 4 hour tma. In the E/U now you can see see price reached the bottom 1 hour band, but the top band is still converging relatively close to the top 4 hour band. Price still has ample room to be pulled down toward the bottom 4 hour band.
