Thank you for the ea,I have been trading Ptt live for a few weeks now with good success.mostly Manually.

I wounder if its possible to add the spreads +2 pips on the entry order.

I've also have noticed when I put a 50 pip ts on,and when it hits.

EA open another order even the price is way past the IB original entry.could you have a look at it when you have some spare time please.

Yet again I like to thank you for your hard work and your generosiy sharing all these systems with the EA's with everyone.

Faithfully

Monty.

Has Steve abandoned this EA? I ask because the last few comments have elicited no response and I'm wary of using something where the creator has stopped posting.

It still Works, take trades, just testing to see if it can be made profitable through, various settings, in addition to OOTB. Currently looking mainly on D1. If there are particular issues, raise them and a member of the family will chime in. OOCD is aint easy to manage

Bless!

Steve, I am testing this one with success for some time now. Performance could improve, in my humble opinion, when adding the following functionality (many of which i have seen in your other bots):
1. auto-detect trade long/trade short
2.max bar length for the IB as fraction of average bar length over n bars.
3. stop trading if price is >n pips away from MA: I've seen trades taken just after a fierce and steep rally, followed by an even fierce correction to hit SL
Hope this helps and have a nice day

Yes, I will.

I have not bothered with this EA because I am working on my own manual trend trading method using a W1(10) moving average to detect the trend, and Bob's V10 as the trigger.

My trend-detection method is almost the same as the one here that triggers a trade. Of itself, that would not be sufficient to refuel my interest here; the knowledge that you have been testing this successfully is.

I will update sometime very soon.

seems like a nice concept steve. Just need to refrain from implimenting all the other ideas people keep suggesting. The end product ends up being totally different to what it was supposed to be!

Do I have to turn on the EA BEFORE an IB is confirmed to make the EA take a trade?

If possible, I would like the EA to look at x number of recent bars (7?) for an IB and place an order for the latest IB so that it trades whenever it is turned on.

Hi Guys,
I have a question about semi-auto robot from Steve. I have been testing modified PTT trading system, where I set trades always on both ends of IB. I only trade AUD/USD, that I have backtested. Yesterday extremely short IB was created. I set robots on two separate installations of MT4, one I use for short trades, one for long trades on same demo account. What happened immediately after the beginning of new day bar was that the trades were set and after couple minutes the long trade was triggered. But since there was a news event issued around that time, spread was 15-16 pips while the long trade was triggered. Stoploss was 30pips.
As the long trade was triggered, it did not even start with the comment, that the stoploss was set wrong and also the short trade was removed. Does anyone has any idea why? Thanks.

Michal

Hi,

I downloaded the fully automated EA and the indi. EA compiles ok, however, when I backtest, the journal is full of:

Any ideas on how to eliminate these two errors?

TIA,
Rick
