Default I looove VSA

Saw distribution in gj from yesterday midish ny session. Asia today that continued. Took a couple of short. And was short when this news release came out. What a day.

BUT not posting this to brag. I reread this pdf yesterday, its already made me a bunch.

So guys read this pdf its basic and a trader who has been using it forever wrote it really to his friends. Not like MTM which is more for promotion i think. It takes about 2 hours to read.

Anyway here it is, hope it helps.

Yes, a valuable read for sure, plus it isn't copyrighted like Master the Markets.

I know I'm going to tick some people off here, but I have to say this. The free copies of MTM that people post all over this forum are COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS! Below is right out of the book:

"Without prior written approval from TradeGuider Systems Ltd, no part of this document may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, including but not limited to electronic, mechanical, photocopying or recording or stored in any retrieval system of whatever nature." Maybe all the people posting Master the Markets as a free pdf have obtained this written permission from Tradeguider, but I kind of doubt it.

I have the ebook, but I paid the $9.95 for it. That's not exactly going to break me.

If knowing this you still want to download it for free, that's up to the individual and your own conscience, but don't make the mistake of thinking it's legal, ethical, or ok with the authors.

Sorry if I'm stepping on any toes here, but just felt this needed to be said...

nfp and holding short close to highs ... very high risk and not what vsa is about.... but good trading

I took shorts on no demand bars 3 min on 2x rallies and made 100 pip on very low risk trade...only about 50 pip shy of your profit i think .. just hit another short 149.40 gj

No high horse here...I'm no better than anyone else for sure; I'm actually probably much worse in a lot of ways. Like I wrote, I just thought it needed to be said. Probably a lot of people were not even aware of it I'd guess...

Take for what it's worth either way...no offense intended.

The entire MTM book has been offered for FREE on at least three sites, two of which are: Tradeguider.com and MakarketManipulation.com. These are TradeGuider sites. Which means they can't violate their own copyright.

Once the link is out there, it's out there. It is in no way a violation to re-post the link on a forum. It becomes the responsibility of the original poster (link created) to take down the link. But once the link is offered the genie is out of the bottle.

BTW, it has also been offered in two ways: download only (non-printable) and a printable download version.

http://www.marketmanipulation.com/mtm.asp

On the one site you listed at least, from what I see it's $9.95 for the pdf, and I think I saw $90 for the hard copy, although that's not shown on the page. If it's free, that's not indicated on their website.

With all due respect, whether the genie is out of the bottle or not is not the point. It's either wrong/illegal or it isn't. It's ok with me if I'm mistaken here, but from what I can tell I'm not.

The problem here is that if they are selling it for $9.95, and someone instead is giving it for free on a forum, then essentially we are taking $9.95 out of the author's hands everytime someone downloads it for free instead of buying it.

I was once offered "Bird Watching in Lion Country" free via a link. I was unsure if that was ok, so I contacted the author directly. He told me in no uncertain terms that it was NOT ok with him for his book to be distributed freely, and he was wanting to contact the websites that were doing it. So I bought it instead.

My point with that post was to make people aware of the copyright violation. If someone is aware and chooses to do it anyway, that's their choice. But I wanted to at least raise the point so others can make an informed decision about it, rather than assuming that just because it's posted for free on a forum that everything is ok.

Anyway, I don't want this to digress from the VSA-ness of the thread. Was just trying to raise the issue which I don't think was wrong to do...

Tradeguider website has been changed....One could access their resourcess: videos and books in exchange for e-mail adress....I downloaded last year e-book of Master the market for free from tradeguider.com. Gavin was aloso encouraging people to download it for free for period of time....

That could explain the confusion here.

I know I paid the $9.95 just recently, so that plus the fact that it's shown on the site currently for sale and not for free is what I was basing my comments on. It previously being available there for free is what others based their comments on I presume.

Thanks for pointing this out...I hope there's no offense anywhere, and hope this didn't detract too much from learning VSA on the thread

Question Any entries here?

HG, Malcom or other VSA experts:
Trying to find if/when there were any VSA entries on this E/$ M5 chart.

In the attached image, I've circled two areas that I was watching after the news release.

I'm wondering if VSA signaled any entry at those points. I'd appreciate if there was or if there wasn't.

Also, whenever we are looking for a low-volume test, are we looking for the "yellow" volume bar
or
is it just a relative low volume compared to, say, the last 4-5 bars?

Many times I find myself looking for that low volume test and waiting for the yellow bar to appear. But, I guess I'm missing something here.

Hello there,
i read that PDF but on page 19 about Test of supply i guess there is some missconception on that picutre

First bar he wrote "Absorbtion volume" its bad.Absorbtion volume is up bar pussing thru old top on VSA.
Next bar about he wrote "Test bar". Again bad.
Its too much wide to be test. Its Shakout not a test bar.
i think this whole picutre in that pdf should be corrected.

just my opinion.
