I believe I know what the problem might be that you're having. Go into the Edit screen within the indicator again. This time, scroll down until you see NewsWindow. Change that value to 0. That should get the window to appear on your main chart window.

Missed section of Trading Plan
Hi folks,
I missed out a section of the Trading Plan when I cut and pasted. The section is
Trix Ichimoku Strategy (TIS) Trade Guidelines.
I have now added that in on my original post attachment. Sorry about that.
Cobra, thanks for the comments. High praise indeed!

Just another indicator
Hello everyone,
As some of you might remember, I'm trading using the THV system for scalping the M1 and M5 timeframes. It's quite a tricky job but still manageable for me (or at least it looks so). I was watching the TRIX indicator in a frenzy for many days now and I'm wondering whether it would be worthwile to create an indicator that shows the sum of the value of the fast and slow TRIX lines, or maybe the average of it for the last n (user-specified) periods.
If there's a statistically proven correlation between the PA and this sum I was talking above, then fine. Perhaps someone could code this into an indi...
Any comments?

Yes they get draw but are tapped by the trix background, you can set Trix_back to false and will see them.

Thereīs one slight programming error and it concerns this indicator only, it does not draw trendlines (divergences) even this options is available. It does for the chart but not for the TrixBox.
Since other Thv version of "trixes" wonīt bring information screen & markethours & plus other suggestions information once this have to have to be applied via provided templates this one might need to be fixed.
In my opinioin, this is best manual system once itīs implemented inside of...

Successful trading takes screen time and experience. There are no short cuts but we can be helped in the right direction.
Good luck and many pips!

This can be done but any coding should have a good reason, can you show examples of the advantage of that value, please?
I would be more interested in the distance between both trix.

From my understanding of the coral, the color of the coral itself does not matter when it comes to entrance confirmation. The coral is there to help decide if we'll be entering a long or short trade, price above the coral for long, below the coral for short. If everything confirms for entrance for long for example, and coral is still red color, we would still enter the trade regardless of the coral color. This is how I've come to understand it and trade it by looking at countless entrance examples. But do correct me if I'm not correct Cobra.

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your info. It was very helpful, and I truly appreciate it. It is a great help.

quote=castlebrook;3214248]Hi Folks,
I've been a member of this thread since December last year. That is almost a year. I've not contributed much but taken away a lot about the THV system.
It is my turn to give something back.
I have attached my trading plan for the THV aspect of my trading. I have 3 plans with similar outline but this one is for the THV method or at least my interpretation of it.
I hope you find time to read it at least once and try out the way I trade THV. You can then adapt it to your own trading style and timeframes.
