AUD basket
My strong AUD basket I had to close manually as only 3trades were opened, probably because I have kept max. spread at 10.
I closed it when upl was showing at more than 1300. All lot sizes were 0.02.

I just got a weak AUD basket opened, but the EA has opened the following trades:
sell audusdm
buy audcadm
sell audjpym
buy audchfm
buy audnzdm
sell euraudm
Looking at your code, shouldn't the EA have opened these trades:
sell audusdm
sell audcadm
sell audjpym
sell audchfm
sell audnzdm
buy euraudm

You have BasketReverseNotCancel enabled, it causes this. Read documentation to understand the system.

Update on V3 use.
So far, this is keeping dd to a minimum. It cannot hurry the basket to closure because this depends on the number of pips profit it makes.
What it is doing is allowing those profitable trades in the basket to make their presence more strongly felt. Previously, we have all been familiar with having baskets in dd because of one dominant loser. scooby-doo's insights are helping to lessen their impact because the 'lesser' pairs are trading higher lot sizes.
There might be sense in going back to a cash profit target rather than a pips one. Let's see how it goes for now.

My advice would be to close the basket if the basket profit ($) is > (Base lotsize * 120)
That may sound on the low side to many but if its your own money then i guess the main idea is to open/close the basket asap.
Profit is Profit, dont get too greedy!
All the best,

Haha, OK, I admit I don't fully understand this basket concept. I'll read up on it, in the meantime I enjoy demo trading and testing. Thanks all.

It isn't easy to get your head around. Keep reading and demo testing; when you understand it you will enjoy it.

Hehe. Given what your ideas have helped us achieve already, I am disinclined to argue with you.
I shall code this as tomorrow.
Cheers scooby-doo. Time coming up to watch the robots with your name on them now.

Steve,
I guess you should make that 120 figure configurable as I am sure people will either disagree with me or want to enter their own value.
The problem for retail traders is that they have to overcome the spreads, I am glad I dont have to worry about this in my day job, it would pose an additional nightmare!
Cheers,
PS. Given the public holiday in Japan, expect some heavy trading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep. Will do. I prefer to make inputs a user choice, then I can deny responsibility when they go wrong.

Well, most of us are here because we are not yet successful retail forex traders. We are risking a few quid of our own money. I don't fancy being in charge of a few million of someone else's. I guess you earn the right to leave behind an additional nightmare or two.
