Hi ES Trader, Hope this will help. Combining 4H and daily.
Yes, Looks pretty good.
Now I am sorry for asking a dumb question.
How do I make the prices in excel update live. I do have IBFX, FXDD and Alpari platform open
Thanks

I do know there is a way to make the spreadsheet update , all I know is the DDE server on MT4 has to be enabled but don't know what else is required .

To update it live you require a script or EA to write CCFp data to a cvs file and then you call it into exel with a macro. You can to live qoutes through dde but I don't think there is a way for historical data to go stright into the exel
If one of the coders can write a script or EA to write the CCFp info a cvs. I do have a script to write the date, time OCHL maybe some coder can adapt it to write CCFp data. But then again I don't know if it is worth the effort you still have to execute a script and then the macro in the exel. Do copy and paste the data of 2 H2 bars and 2 D1 bars does not take much longer.

Hi ES

This trading system is just great... Simple,Clear and straight forward... You are a very nice guy and wish you best of luck in your life...

However, the major trend at FF is to get simple things complex LOL ... Why do you guys like simplicity... I think a good upgrade to this board would be a thread filter by usernames There are a lot of usernames I would filter out from this thread to make it more clear ... Some people are just too lazy to read from the beginning... Lots of stupid questions...

I am quoting one of ES post which have a deep meaning for everyone who got mind and intellect... I like this post very much...

Hi 101,
You can "steal my thunder" anytime. I am a very simple person, just intetested in helping everyone that I come across. I feel good when I know I can make some difference in some ones life. After all the money can buy happiness only when it is shared with others. We all come into this world with nothing and leave with nothing.

I am looking forward for your EA.

thanks
Kris

Here's attached an indicator I just finished. It calculates the difference between the 2 previous bars for each currency based on the exact same CCFp calculation.

The results is displayed with colored squares from 1 to 10.

You can select the pairs you want to trade and it will tell you BUY, SELL or NO TRADE.

A "trade level" from 1 to 10 will filter the difference you want to be reached before trade allowed.

Note: this isn't an EA ... just an indicator.

Hope that helps to visualize this setup.

I like ccfp v1.0.2b.
I just wanted to know if it is possible to have this indicator to show the Relative strength of a currency on a daily frame as well.(MTF -but just daily and 4hr).
I do not want any lower time frame since it does not work well in anything lower than 4hr,
Thanks
Kris

wow!!
i was tinking for this idea ( but in lower frame )

good to read this ,
Never sell @ lower upward channel unless breacked and vise versa .

I hope this CORRECTED contribution helps everyone. Sorry for the confusion before.

These 2 SCRIPTS (put them in your SCRIPTS directory) will allow you to MANUALLY open and close orders based on the StrengtheningBase and WeakeningBase lines that you find using the CCFp indicator.

These scripts are tied together with a unique MagicNumber, and should not interfere with other EAs or manual trades.

The Pairs property gives you the ability to match your brokers offerings. You must edit the Pairs property to match your broker, including any trailing characters such as 'm' on IBFXmini.

Pairs, StrengtheningBase and WeakeningBase are case sensitive, are comma seperated, and MUST NOT contain any spaces.

The only pairs that will be traded will have a strong and weak pair. It will be traded as BUY or SELL depending on the position of the strong base (primary strong base=buy secondary strong base=sell)

The CLOSE script will close ALL of the orders opened by the other script.

Both scripts use a reliable method to open and close trades, and post information of every step in the Experts tab of MT4.

Both scripts are ECN compatible, as the StopLoss and TakeProfit are set after the order is entered.

Please demo trade this, as there may be bugs.

Thanks FerruFx for the indicator,

Correct me if i'm wrong, based on the general rules of this method, EUR/USD should Buy now, right ?
Then i try manually to Buy.
Although CCfP-Diff still show No-Trade in EUR/USD.

I wonder if CCfP-Diff will change according to price movement, we'll see.
