EUR/AUD

Does anyone trade this pair and if so any thoughts on it.

It's daily range is amazing.

this pair has exploded...it has rised over 2000+ pips to this min from the begining of the week.
It's warmer in the crowd
700 pips in 29 minutes and still climbing

3000 pips this week
over 200 pips this morning......

Spreads on this thing are crazy: 20 pips on IB (IdealPRO)
IBFX has been 8 pips most of the time.....

Thanks to this thread I took a peek at the pair, saw an easy setup, and within 45min was 213 pips richer. Thanks gang!

Edit: I had to size this down by quite a bit since my monitor is dual 22" LCDs for dual 1680x1050 desktops, so I cropped the chart info. 4hr chart. My own custom indicator built off of Vegas' from long ago.

Looks like this bugger is going to retrace a bit....although having said that it could rebound at any moment for another 500 pips...lol

Nope, it was the indicator that I posted. The double pin bars just made it all the more sweeter. It was similar to the massive support that formed up on the GBP/USD 4hr chart last night (that I molested as well). All it takes is one good solid break, and BAM! I'll post the full screenshot of the view.

BTW, just clocked another quick one when I saw that it decided to continue down. Another easy 33 pips. Not much, but that's almost 250 off of one pair in an hour. Hooray market volatility!

Eur/Aud is amazing. Second day in a row that the daily range was over 1200 pips. Gbp/Jpy eat your heart out, this pair is a demon.

Hope some one made some pips from it today and yetserday.

Even during "slower" times the EUR/AUD pair has always had tremendous ranges. It has a lower per-pip value than GBP/JPY (for those of us with USD denominated accounts), but the sheer volatility is fun. What can I say, I like to play with fire.

This is why I like trading off of the indicator I use, it's usually fairly accurate. Caught another ride down yesterday to the 1.9583 level for some more pips.

I hope everyone else is finding it as easy to shoot these fish in the barrel as I am.

Hi Jedi,

I like to scalp and I have made over 350 with 17 trades today on this pair. I use small lots but will gradually start to trade with bigger lots.

The draw down can be very large on this pair but when it moves in a certain direction then wait a while and the negitivepips become positive. again. I had 2 losing trades so not a bad day.

Do you have the indicator or where can I find it so I can see what your talking about.

It was a buy--followed up with a short for 93 more--followed up by a loss of 41 for a total of +201 in three trades.
