EUR/USD is about 21 % undervalued, probably due to QE in Europe and rising rates in USA. I think the pair has further to fall before rising again. I have read that the pair could hit 0.90 in 2017 but scotiabank believes that the pair will rise to ...

AUD/CAD is about 13 % overvalued compared to purchasing power parity and the recent OPEC deal to cut oil production might be good for the loonie.

USD/ISK is undervalued compared to purchasing power parity. Part of the reason might be that the interest rate in Iceland is very high and they have low inflation which means that the real interest rate is high, but the interest rate has been cut ...

Below is a picture of calculated purchasing power parity values for GBP/AUD which is currently 20+% ...

That makes sense. But how can USD/CHF be explained? They are both developed nations and safe havens but the CHF is always overvalued. My guess is historical inflation differentials. More inflation in the U.S. --> weaker dollar and falling PPP.

The pound is more than 20 % undervalued compared to purchasing power parity. I'm not buying yet, but it might be time to look for some kind of fundamental catalyst to the upside.

Someone mentioned that the millipede strategy is feast or famine and famine most of the time, but the thing is that with the millipede strategy the feasts are exponentially bigger than the famines. just store up a lot of food so you wont have a ...

I guess you mean that PPP doesn't matter for emerging markets? Like the mexican peso being undervalued by 50+ % compared to the american dollar. I think that i understand why the mexican peso is undervalued(a lot of shorting to hedge) but for other ...

I just calculated PPP for that currency pair. It also seems to be undervalued. The data are from the link below. Do you by any chance know what purchasing power parities FOR GDP means? I assume that there is a difference between just PPP and PPP for ...

Same hypothetical trade on a monthly chart. Sadly I was sleeping when the news was released. Great risk/reward even if you didn't place the trade before 15 minutes after the news was released. I don't think that Graeme paid much attention to news ...

I'm thinking about only trading after important news releases, because it really is the news that are moving the markets in the long term, not patterns on a screen. Does anyone here have success with combining news trading with the equity millipede ...

Not sure if anyone here is trading silver but there might be a good equity millipede opportunity here. But be careful. It doesn't look like the price is expected to rise a lot in 2016 or 2017. But you never know. It has been much higher in the past. ...

This is how I'm stacking. I just look at the charts to find good setups and then I add every minute that a candle closes significantly lower than it opened(in a downtrend). Not all trades will survive but that's okay. When enough do in a strong ...

The fed has increased the interest rate once this year and is expected to do it again. Japan is probably not going to increase the rate anytime soon, so we can expect a rate differential for at least a few years. I'm currently looking for a breakout ...

Here you can see the power of stacking during important news. As shown in the picture above I sold GBP/JPY and stacked very aggressively. I did that because the live results on url showed that the brexit would likely happen. I have closed all open ...
