So far, the above mentioned calculations are the best way i know in order to turn your sentence in figures So, smaller time frames give more signals, but they should be filtered depending of strength of signals with adjusting to spread affect.

thanks, but according to that i can make some calculations that will certainly show me some difference between 1 pip spread and 5 pips spread for this 10/20 SL/TP example ..

it must depend of your system. in general terms, in order to evade a squeeze you should set your stops in less popular place.
