And if yes how far do you expect this tension might affect the market?

reason for short
euraud pa below 60 ema on 4hr,day and weekly timeframe tdi crosinng on daily same direction as 4hr timeframe

eurcad pa below the daily channel red bar forming on the daily channel and the slope of the daily and weekly channel is down
let see how it goes

First trade in a while.

Don't normally trade at this time but was on computer and price bounced off 800 ma on 4hr chart, nice TDI cross and entered at change of candle colour.

Held on for 31 pips and exited because price stalled, TDI looks like it may hook and price has already gone eight blue price bars.

Bugger clearly should have hung on! Actually broke one of my rules in not waiting for the candle to close before making my decision to close the trade.

Oh well lesson learnt .

I guess the news had some impact today . Im long on EU and GU .

I'll revise this thread by posting some example S3 H4 trade

As in the chart, 4 vertical lines mark 4 entries due to S3 H4 rules.
1 out of these is a losing with small loss. (and against the rule by going counter trend)
Other 3 are all winnings.

The profits to loss ratio of all these 4 trades is like 20:1

anyway, as seen in chart, I don't use SHI channel.

nice one kbp. i am still using this method but i just dont go to forums quite often. personally i think the H1 method (compared to the M15 system, loveevery1 thread) is actually more powerful and more accurate in long run especially because i like to hold on TP at certain situations.

i will post chart when i make a new entry but no promise because honestly my internet connection truly sucks the past few weeks. it's only enough for trading and browsing, uploading take ages.

I'm with you guys, I'm following Trading Made Simple as well, I'm reading backward for some time now, we lost some important pages but still I can go back again and again reading old posts

I had a very successful trading week 2 weeks ago with 90% winning rate , and though to myself that I got this strategy and PA nailed out, but last week shows that I'm still in the middle of the road, that 90 % winning week turned into a disaster last week , all the gain I got , was washed out last week, but still I'm following this strategy since I can not change it, they say you stick with your strategy and I'm following this rule

It took me hard work just to analysis last week trading with writing all the notes on the chart and what went wrong, but this is trading and the learning process continues , so thank you guys for coming back to this thread, 1H trading suits me very well, maybe later I can also starts the 4H when things settle down with 1H timeframe
