UK Business investment Q3 2011 provisional results

•Business Investment in seasonally adjusted terms fell by 1.4 per cent when compared with the previous quarter to £30.2 billion. •Business Investment increased by 0.3 per cent when compared with the third quarter of 2010. •Total manufacturing investment rose by 15.7 per cent to £3.7 billion when compared with the previous quarter. •Total non-manufacturing investment fell by 3.4 per cent to £26.5 billion when compared with the previous quarter. •Compared to the third quarter of 2010, total manufacturing investment rose 31.7 per cent; total non-manufacturing fell by 3.0 per cent.
