EUR/USD steady after slow Asian session; ECB rate decision awaited By Gerry Davies || November 5, 2009 at 06:14 GMT || 0 comments || Add comment EUR/USD sits at 1.4850, very marginally lower from where it closed out in North America Wednesday after a slow Asian session. Fed duly pledged to keep rates “exceptionally low” for an “extended” period, as had been widely expected. Today’s it’s the turn of the ECB and BOE. I think I told a little fib in my headline. I don’t think the market’s really waiting for the ECB rate decision. The feeling is that it’s a caste iron certainty the ECB will leave rates on hold at 1.0% and is likely to give little away as regards when it might start... Full Story
